For the second straight week both of CM's men's and women's basketball teams find themselves ranked in the top 10 of the weekly USCAA National Coaches Poll.

Since the last rankings, the men's basketball team went 1-1, losing to USCAA #2, Central Penn and beating Eastern Maine Community College.  The Mustangs, who currently sit in 10th place, have ended play for the first semester and go into break with an overall record of 10-7, and a YSCC record of 6-1.

The Lady Mustangs remain in 3rd place, sitting behind Berkeley College (NY) and Penn State Hazleton, and remain as the highest ranked team out of the YSCC.  CM sits at 10-3 overall and 7-0 in the Yankee Small College Conference.  The Lady Mustangs have defeated two teams ranked in the top 10 of USCAA DII National Coaches Poll; CM defeated #4 UMaine-Augusta by a score of 83-49, and #10 Southern Maine CC by a score of 66-62.
