NHTI 12 CMCC 2
Central Maine takes a hard loss from the Lynx of NHTI. Derek Volkernick added the 2 RBI's in the 5th to keep the Stangs' from getting blanked. Jacob Whiting-Kooy took the loss, going 3 2/3 innings.

NHTI blanks the Mustangs, despite a strong outing by pitcher, Cory Moholland. Justin Cocroft stayed hot offensively, going 1-3 at the plate. Ryan Baillegeon added some great defensive plays throughout the game.

The Mustangs suffered a tough loss in the season opener. CM starter, Derek Volkernick pitched well in the loss, throwing 5 innings, striking out 6 and allowing 4 earned runs. Justin Cocroft paced offense going 2-3 with a stolen base.

Central Maine pounded out 12 hits to set the offensive tone of the win. Leading the Mustangs were Justin Cocroft, David Hobson & Dartanyan Bourget combining for 9 hits and 6 runs. Bourget picked up the win, going the distance in the night cap.
