AUBURN - Rachel Del Camp scored a game-high 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead Southern Maine Community College over Central Maine Community College 59-47 to secure the Yankee Small College Conference championship on Sunday.

The Seawolves (15-8) closed the second half with a 20-8 run and led 30-18 at the break. Despite closing the gap to six points, the Mustangs (15-6) never recovered and were limited to 25 percent shooting from the floor.

Katie Martin registered a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Teira During drained 10 points and Tiffany Lougee scored six points and hauled down 11 rebounds.

Alisa Sweet tallied 16 points for the Seawolves and Amanda Chandler added 15.

AUBURN - Katie Martin poured in 13 points and Danielle Hebert added 12 as Central Maine Community College advanced to the Yankee Small College Conference championship with a 72-45 victory over New Hampshire Technical Institute on Saturday.

The Mustangs (15-5) led wire-to-wire and dominated on both ends of the court, holding the Lynx (10-17) to three field goals in the first half and shot 36 percent from the floor to the Lynx's 19 percent. Kayla Ellis accounted for eight assists and five steals. Alex Donald registered eight points and Carrie Hayden and Sara Martin scored seven apiece.

Jess Hardiman led the Lynx with 11 points and Ashley Harris contributed nine.

The Mustangs will defend their YSCC title against Southern Maine Community College on Sunday at 12 p.m. The winner will earn a berth in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national tournament.
