UNIONTOWN, Pennsylvania (YSCC) - #2 Central Maine Community College Mustangs will once again play for the USCAA Women's DII crown on Wednesday after an 80-62 win over Villa Maria.
YSCC Tournament MVP Kristen Huntress scored 23 points, while Natalie Thurber tipped in 19 points in the win.
As has happened before, the Mustangs trailed at halftime but came out of the break blazing. The Mustangs scored 29 points in the third to go into the fourth with the lead.
CMCC shot just over 40% from the floor and 50% from three-point land.
The win moves the Mustangs into their fourth straight USCAA Women's DII Championship game. The Mustangs will play for their 3rd USCAA Championship.
