Mustangs Add Another Thrower to the Rotation

Auburn, ME - Head Baseball Coach, Ryan Yates, is pleased to announce Kyle Moore, a 2016 graduate of Searsport High School, has committed to play baseball for the Mustangs.  Moore, a pitcher by trade, helped led Searsport to back-to-back state championships.  He was also selected as a first team second baseman and led his team hitting with a batting average of .400.

Kyle selected CM because of the great opportunity it presented, "Visiting the campus, it kind of reminded me of my high school,, however, I think it will much more competitive than high school and I cannot wait to meet the challenge.  I will bring a positive attitude towards the team and the game itself.  I have played baseball all my life and I want to get better and better."

Mustangs Coach Yates added, "Kyle will be a geat asset to our team.  He has experience pitching in big games and keeps his composure well.  He throws a litttle three quarters which helps give his ball a little movement to keep hitters from making solid contact.  He will be contributing defensively in the infield and at the plate with a smooth and solid swing.  We are very excited that he has decided to join our team at CM and help bring our program back."
