Mustangs Lose on the Road 6-4

Concord, NH - CM had trouble keeping up with NHTI in a 6-4 loss on Friday.

The Mustangs took an early lead in the first inning. Brandon Varney grounded out, scoring one run.

NHTI took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Brandon Soules doubled off of Evan Roberts , driving in one run and Joseph Dougherty doubled off of Roberts , driving in two runs.

Zach Poisson earned the win for NHTI. He tossed seven innings, giving up four runs, nine hits, striking out three, and walking one. Roberts took the loss for Central Maine Community College Mustangs. He threw six innings, allowing six runs, 12 hits, striking out five, and walking one.

Central Maine Community College Mustangs had nine hits in the game. Alex Biron and Matthew Tremble each collected multiple hits. 

Dougherty, Gavin McFarland, and Soules each collected multiple hits for NHTI.
