NHTI Sneaks by CM 5-4 in Baseball Action

Concord, NH - In a tight game in Concord, the NHTI Lyncs took down the Mustangs 5-4.  

CM took an early lead in the first inning on a Kyle Moore ground out, scoring the first run.

Walter Hammond earned the win for NHTI. He threw two and two-thirds innings, surrendering zero runs, zero hits, and walking zero. Brandon Varney took the loss for Central Maine. He went five innings, allowing five runs, six hits, and striking out four.

Jared Booth started the game for NHTI. He tossed four and a third innings, giving up four runs, six hits, and striking out two.

The Mustangs had six hits in the game. Alex Biron and Moore each collected multiple hits for CM.  CM didn't commit a single error in the field. Matthew Turner had six chances in the field, the most on the team.

NHTI collected six hits. Michael Kernan and Joe Levesque each collected multiple hits for NHTI.
