Mustangs Beaten in Important Game One

So. Portland, ME - Despite Caden Truman's five RBI and towering first inning home run, the Mustangs pitching allowed 13 walks with 8 of those scoring and that was a pivotal factor in the Seawolves 23-13 win over the Mustangs in South Portland on Friday afternoon. 

The Mustangs out hit the Seawolves 17-15 led by Caden Truman and Stefan Lesco. Truman had three hits including two homeruns and five RBI. Lesco had four hits, three runs scored, three RBI and a two run homer. Jimmy Reed and Rolando Rodriguez each had three hits apiece. Rodriguez had a two run homer in the 5th. Will Bean added two hits including a double. 

Shane Sullivan started for the Mustangs and suffered the loss. Hunter Warren, Rhen Trinidade and Wyatt Lufkin pitched in relief. 

The Mustangs host the Seawolves on Sunday with game one of a doubleheader starting at noon.
