Coach Yates is in his third year coaching baseball at CM. 

Orginally from Oxford Hills, and a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Yates was an outstanding pitcher for the Huskies leading them into the college world series.

His abiltiy to relate and  teach the game of baseball has been inspiring to the young players at CM.  He has the ideal personality and demeanor it takes to build a program.

In only his third year, he led the Mustangs to the 2016 fall NECA Championship with a record of 8-3-1 this past fall.  Recruiting has been postive as he has been able to bring some quality talent to Auburn. 

He resides in Oxford Hills and works at "in the zone" batting instruction in his home town.
