Five Mustangs scored in double-figures as CM rolled over the Seawolves of the University of New Brunswick - St. John, 93-41 in the first game of the 19th annual Can-Am basketball tournament.
Steady full court pressure and continuous trapping in the backcourt caused multiple turnovers as CM's defense stifled the visitors all afternoon. Shaun Hill led the home team with 14 points, followed by four players with ten points: Kazre Cummings, Luis Medina, Xavier Colbert, and Carrington Miller.
With the win, CM improves to 1-0 on the year and will be back in action tomorrow, when they host St. Thomas University in the final game of the Can-Am Tournament.
