Men's Basketball Wins Exhibition

Never dispute the value of maturity and experience.  However, youth, conditioning and passion have a way of overcoming the lack of time on the basketball court.  CM hosted the perennial adult team leader in Maine tonight and came away with a 103-102 victory.  After giving up 62 first half points and being down by 22 points, the Mustangs clawed away utilizing their entire bench to wear down the veterans from Class Acts.  Team leader, Luis Medina, and a vocal Mustang's bench propelled a strong commitment to defense the second half to hold the scoring machine that Class Acts brings to the game to just 40 points.

Again this game, five different Mustangs scored in double digits:  Medina had 17pts, Xavier Colbert finished with 13 points, Jalen Lincoln hit for 12, Kazre Cummings had 11 points and Colton Bivighouse found his mid-range jumper and knocked down 10 points.

At the end of the day this was a good night for CM.  Can't say it enough how bringing in a team of former college stars helps our program.  Class Acts is indeed "Class" and shows our kids how the game should be played.  Matt Clement led the way hitting for 32 points for Class Acts.
