After playing Friday night and not hitting the hardwood until a 1pm pre-game practice Monday afternoon, the Mustangs came out flat against Maine Maritime Academy later Monday night. The first half was a stalemate with both teams heading to the locker room tied, 32-32.
A different kind of halftime approach may have woke them up as CM came out the second half and crushed MMA going home with a 92-66 win. Forty minutes of pressure defense carried the day as MMA didn't have any legs the second half.
Shaun Hill and Luis Medina along with four others hit for double figures. The Mustangs travel to Bridgton Academy Wednesday night for an exhibition game.
