Men's Basketball Wins Wild Game

The Mustangs turned it up a notch tonight taking down the impressive Fighting Saints from the College of St Joes (VT), 108-104 in Rutland, VT.

CM played hard, applying full court pressure for 40 minutes. It didn't seem like any defense was played with the high score but St. Joes was able to knock down 15 threes with hands in their face.  At the end, CM's defensive pressure was too much and took its toll on the Fighting Saints in the last 3 minutes of the game.

Luis Medina and Shaun Hill combined for 50 points (26 and 24 respectively) to lead the Mustangs.  Kazre Cummings chipped in with 15 points.

Dre Anderson led CSJ with 31 points.

With the win, CM improved to 7-0 on the year and 2-0 in the YSCC.  The Mustangs are back in action tomorrow when they take on the Knights of VTC.
