Mustangs Trounce Black Sheep

The train rolled on today as the Mustangs crushed Hampshire College 100-31 in Yankee Conference action.   Beset by injuries, and another significant injury in the first two minutes of the game today, Hampshire couldn't get any traction against the Mustangs depth.  

Sixteen different Mustangs scored in a balance team effort.  Preston Isner led the home with 14 points and 10 rebounds to record his first career double-double.  Luis Medina dished out a game-high 15 assists.

The Mustangs shot 53% from the floor, while holding Hampshire College to just 22%.

CM improved their record to 12-0 overall and 7-0 in the Yankee Conference.  The Mustangs travel to rival SMCC Wednesday in a game against their conference rivals.  The Lady Mustangs will open the double-header at 6:00pm, followed by the men's game at 8:00pm.
