Mustangs Battle Fatigue and a Scrappy Machias Squad in Crucial Win

Four games in in five days will test any team's depth and conditioning, and the Mustangs were no exception.  After being up 57-38 at halftime, CM fought off a furious Clipper second half attack to hold on to a 97-88 win.

As the second half moved on, the Mustangs seemed to be a step or two off the ball and not hitting the glass.  One word seemed to define the problem; fatigue.  Using all sixteen players didn't seem to contain the Clipper onslaught.  Fortunately for the Mustangs, they possess a no-quit attitude and kept with the program to finished strong and secure the game.

Luis Medina registered 12 points and 11 assists to pace CM.  Tim Flanagan led all scorers with 20 points.  CM, now 21-1 overall and 11-0 in the YSCC, takes a day off and will entertain Unity College Tuesday night.
