Men's Basketball Lands Recruit

We are pleased to announce Breyon Graves, a 2013 graduate from Benjamin Franklin High School in Baltimore, Maryland, has committed to play for the Mustangs next year.  Breyon is a 6'5" swing player who averaged 12.5 points and 6 rebounds per game for his high school team.  He helped lead his team to a 21-4 record, the city championship and a number one finish in divisional play.   He was voted Most Outstanding Player his senior year.

According to Breyon:
"I chose CM because the moment I arrived on campus, I felt at home.   I was a little nervous at first because I would be 12 hours from home in West Baltimore, but the coaches, players, and even the students made me feel welcomed.  This comfort level helped me to decide to make CM my home for the next two years."

From Coach Gonyea:
"Before Breyon visited we knew he could play.  However, watching him in pick-up and his interactions with our players, we knew this would be a good fit.  He can get up and down the court, is very quick and will fit into our running—pressing system.   A focus area in the recruiting process this year has been the size of our wing players.  We are looking for more size on the wing to compete at the national level.  Breyon is a natural wing player and at 6'5" he is exactly what we are looking for!  We are delighted he will part of our program next year!"
