Suero Commits to CM

Suero Commits to CM

We are pleased to announce Jeremy Suero from Providence, RI and a 2014 graduate from Juanita Sanchez High School has committed to CM next year.  Not only did Jeremy lead his high school team in three point shots made, but he also led the state of Rhode Island as well.  He also led his high school team to the Division 3 State Championship and an invitation to the Rhode Island State Open Basketball Championship.  He will be studying Criminal Justice at CM.

According to Jeremy, "I have two primary reasons why I chose to come to CM.  First, I feel like CM is set up to guide me in being successful in the classroom and the court.  At CM everyone helps you succeed.  Second, it feels like home; the environment is nice and everyone here is friendly."

According to Head Men's Basketball Coach, Dave Gonyea, "Jeremy probably has more upside than any kid we have in this year's recruiting class.   At 6'2, I don't think he is done growing and I predict he will blossom to 6'4 or 6'5 before he graduates.  He shoots the ball as good as anyone we have had in a while and is smooth on the court.  He has natural instincts and a good understanding of what needs to be done.   He will have the opportunity to earn some valuable minutes on our team.  I am thrilled he will be a Mustang!"
