Mustangs Trounce Black Sheep

Carrington Miller (Bingham, ME) carried the load today as CM thrashed the Hampshire Black Sheep in Amherst, Massachusetts by a 102-50 score.   Miller played his best game this year registering 41 points and 13 rebounds.  This is his fifth double-double of the season.

The long drive and the fact the Mustangs only dressed seven players didn't faze the squad.  CM dashed out to a 14-2 lead from the tap and took a commanding 58-24 lead into halftime.

Breyon Graves (Baltimore, MD) threw in 21 points and hauled down 8 rebounds.  Josh Thomas (Lewiston, ME) hit for 13 points, Adam Jensen (Gray, ME) added 11 points and Greenville native Howie Stone chipped in with 10 points.

The win increased the Mustangs conference record to 4-0, and 7-3 overall.  UMPI treks to Auburn Monday to face the Mustangs in a 7pm tilt.
