For 35-minutes the Mustangs followed the game plan to perfection. For the last 5-minutes, the Mustangs lost focus and allowed 6 fast break points not including 4 free throws, allowing NHTI to recover from a 10-point deficit to nip CM, 98-92. CM led most of the game, at times in double figures but couldn't put away the pesky Lynx.
Tim Flannagan (Providence, RI) led the visitors knocking down six threes registering 18 points. Carrington Miller (Bingham, ME) added 16 points with 9 rebounds.
The Mustangs now prepare for the Yankee Conference Tournament scheduled for this weekend. CM faces VTC in the opening round on Friday night at 9pm. NHTI will be hosting the conference tournament this year.
