Owls take down Mustangs

Auburn, ME—Chase Vicaire shot 10-17 (29 points) from the field as UMPI dropped the Mustangs 80-68 in a non-league contest last night.

Playing their fourth game in six days showed as CM couldn't get untracked until the second half.  Trailing 40-31 at the break, the Mustangs came out of the locker room with a 13-0 run to take the lead.   After a time out the Owls regrouped and came back strong.  The Owls hit five three's with under six seconds on the shot clock on five different occasions to break the backs of CM and put the home team away.

Rob Skinner (Winsted, CN) led CM with 21 points and 9 rebounds.  Carrington Miller (Bingham, ME) chipped in with 17 points and 9 rebounds.

CM takes five much needed days off to recuperate and is back in action in a charity game with the Auburn Police on Tuesday, December 1st.
