Auburn, ME—Thanksgiving recess is both a gift and a curse to college players.  The Mustangs played their first game in two weeks today escaping Kirk Hall with a 70-62 win over Vermont Technical College.

CM jumped out to a 17-5 lead in the first six minutes of the game.  However, VTC went on a 15-3 run and tied the game up 20-20 halfway into the first half.  A Kaleb Benjamin (Belfast, ME) three and Carrington Miller (Bingham, ME) steal propelled the Mustangs to a tentative 5 point lead.  CM went into the locker room at halftime with a slight 37-34 edge.
