Mustangs Ground Herons 94-73

Auburn, ME –Despite arriving home at 2am last night, CM managed to come out of the gate firing today as the home team smacked Great Bay Community College by a 94-73 margin.

The game began with the recognition of Carrington Miller (Bingham, ME) who scored his 1000th career point last Saturday in Vermont.  With Carrington's family present, he was presented the game ball and recognized for this outstanding achievement.

The Mustangs jumped out quick securing a 10-15 point lead and coasting into halftime with a comfortable 46-31 lead.  Full court defensive pressure with all Mustangs involved contained the visiting Herons and limited them to only 6 offensive rebounds all game.

Four Mustangs hit for double figures.  Carrington Miller led all scorers with 17 points—(Miller also ripped down 15 rebounds), Jordan White (Providence, RI) added 12 points, and both Mark Williams (Vista, CA) and Thomas Cedre (Auburn, ME) added 11 points.

The win takes the Mustangs to a 15-6 overall record and 6-2 in conference.   CM travels to conference rival Maine Machias tomorrow in a showdown that will impact the top tier of conference teams.
