Mustang Comeback Falls Short

Concord, NH—After expending a tremendous of emotion Wednesday night in a thrilling overtime win over rival SMCC, the Mustangs had to reload Friday on the road against out of state rival New Hampshire Technical Institute.  It took CM twenty five minutes to get to work but were too deep in the hole falling to the Lynx 101-89.

A flat first half sent the Mustangs to the locker room down 55-34.  CM used its entire line up trying to ignite a spark but nothing seemed to work.  With fourteen minutes left in the contest and CM down by 34 points, the boys found some life.  CM went on a 24-8 run to climb back into the game but time ran out before any serious comeback could materialize.

NHTI shot a game high 52% and continued to knock down shot after shot.

Carrington Miller (Bingham, ME) led the visitors with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

This was the last regular season game for CM who now prepare for the Yankee Conference Playoffs.
