Men's Basketball hosts SMCC Wednesday night

Auburn, ME - On Wednesday night at 8:00pm the Central Maine men's basketball team will take on rival Southern Maine Community College in the cozy confines of Kirk Hall. This game will follow the women's game scheduled for a 6:00pm tip-off.

SMCC comes into the game with a 9-2 overall record and at 5-1 in the Yankee Small College Conference. The Seawolves are averaging 85.5 points per game while giving up only 63.5. Antencio Martin, Ryan Cloutier, Gregory Trinidad, and Anderson Kavutse all averge double-figure points per game. 

The Mustangs enter Wednesday's contest sitting at 10-2 overall and 6-1 in the YSCC. They are averging 87.7 points per game while allowing 75.1. Elijah Barbour averages a team-high 14.6 points per game, while Josh Chery is the only other starter averaging double figures with 12.2 points per game. Rodney Theodore averages 10.5 points per contest coming off the bench for the Mustangs.
