Randolph, VT – The Knights hit their first nine three's Friday to mow down the traveling Mustangs by a 95-59 score. By the time the visitors had a chance to pick up any momentum, the game was out of reach. Trailing 50-25 at the half, CM came out of the locker room attempting to nibble away at the lead. VTC continued to hit shots and the Mustangs could not. Shooting a dismal 18% from the 3 point line and 30% overall simply would not get the job done for CM.
The loss was particularly disheartening for CM as they are battling for a playoff spot in the Yankee Conference.
Tyrone Hilson knocked down 31 points and added 5 rebounds for VTC.
