Auburn, ME – Thirteen out of fifteen Mustangs hit the scoring column Monday as CM ran over the University of Maine at Augusta 90-57 in Kirk Hall.
CM jumped out to a 3-0 lead on a Cam Duncan Jump shot and never looked back. A 17-4 run in the games open minutes set the tone for what was to come. The home team went into halftime with a 42-21 lead.
The second half was more the same. All Mustangs hit the floor and contributed.
According to Coach Dave Gonyea, "the advantage of a game like this is to give more opportunities to players who don't play as much as others and give them their day to shine. I loved the contributions from our bench. It is so positive for team morale."
Elijah Barbour led the Mustangs with 19 points. Cody Tozier added 10 rebounds.
