Paul Smith, NY – Malik Farley came off the bench to score 18 points and haul down 4 rebounds to lead the Mustangs to an important 92-85 road win over Paul Smith College.
The visitors got off to a strong start dominating play early behind solid shooting and a strong rebounding effort. A 16-4 run early took the Mustangs to the locker room with a 56-32 halftime lead.
The Bobcats came out of the locker room strong in the second half and slowly crept back into the game. Meanwhile the Mustangs got a little to complacent and lost a bit of focus. However, Cody Tozier and Josh Chery ripped down some key rebounds in the last four minutes to secure the victory.
Chery added 6 points with his game high 10 rebounds. Rodney Theodore hit for 20 points on a 8-17 shooting night. Corey David added 15 points and Tozier chipped in with 15 points to go with his 8 rebounds.
