Mustangs Slog by Albany 87-76

Albany, NY - Corey David and Khalid Ibn each recorded a double double to lead the Mustangs to a 87-76 win over the Albany College of Pharmacy.

The Mustangs controlled the game leading in double digits most of the contest.  Despite a slow start, CM picked it up early in the half and went on a 12-3 run to lead 21-12 and rolled into the half leading 31-24.  It took a bit to adjust to the officiating as they call a tight game in New York.  CM went to a zone attempting to keep the game clean and avoid any foul trouble.

Sixteen Mustangs played and the visitors received solid contributions up and down the line up.  David's 13 points and 13 rebounds with Ibn hitting for 10 points, but more importantly hauled down 11 rebounds, lead the squad.  Nicolas Dierynck and Mark McDonald both hit for 16 points.

CM increases its record to 11-3 and holds at 7-1 in conference play.  The team travels to SMCC Wednesday for a battle for the top spot in the Yankee Conference.
