CMCC coach Dave Gonyea was proud of his Mustangs for turning up the physicality of the game, and added, "We ran a lot of guys in and out. It was a good performance up and down the lineup.
"I was pleased how hard the kids worked. I thought we executed pretty well. We still had some silly turnovers, but I thought we overcame that and played together and wore them down the stretch. Again, the kids played really hard. I was happy with them."
Cam Pollock and Wyat Hathaway contributed 14 points and Jeremiah Simeon helped out with 12 points and Harry Bates had 11.
In no time at all in the second, the Mustangs rolled to a 20 point lead at one point. Lamondo Cargile led the Eagles with 19 points.
