Coach Steve Carey enters hid second year serving as Coach Gonyea's assistant coach.  Along with typical assistant coach duties, Coach Carey has taken on a big load becoming the lead recruiter for the Mustangs.  His committment, attention to detail, and relationship with the players seperate him from most assistant coaches.  He comes to us after serving as a Varsity Assistant Coach and Junior Varsity Head Coach at Saint Dominic Academy two years ago and is the Director of Southern Maine Sting, a club basketball program, and has been coaching AAU basketball for the past ten years. His teams have won tournaments all over New England.

Carey is an attorney specializing in Juvenile Defense and Guardian ad litem work in Lewiston/Auburn area. He received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Stonehill College in Massachusetts and his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law.
