Auburn, ME - Four power play goals helped lead UNE over the Mustangs 5-1. The Mustangs came out with good energy from the gate but penalties stacked up against the team to put them in an early deficit that they could not dig out of.
UNE found the back of the net on four separate power play instances, three coming with a man open on the back door of the net.
Jordin Eurenius scored the only goal for the Mustangs assisted by Nathan Foye.
"You can't expect the win games when you spend the time in the box we did. We have to be more discipline, plain and simple. Tonight was a perfect example of what can happen when you play a good team and give them the power play opportunities that we did. We have to do a better job staying out of the box" Head Coach Matt Poulin said.
The Mustangs hit the ice next Friday, November 3 at Thomas College.
