Feldman Added to Mustangs Staff

Auburn, ME - Central Maine Community College is thrilled to announce the addition of Auburn native Lane Feldman to the coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2018-2019 season.

Feldman grew up locally and attended St. Dominic's Academy. He began coaching in 1994 in Vermont, working with a women's select team, and has since coached all levels of youth hockey. He has spent his most recent years working alongside Central Maine head coach Matt Buotte at Cape Elizabeth High School in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Before Cape Elizabeth Feldman was an assistant coach at Leavitt High School in Turner.

"Lane is a fantastic addition to our staff," said Buotte. "I have worked with Lane at several different levels of hockey. He has a great mind for the game and can connect with players. We are lucky to have him and I am proud and honored that he will be working with our students. He is a great coach and a better man."

Away from the rink, Feldman lives in Auburn with his two sons. He has worked for the county of Androscoggin for 22 years.

"Lane understands this community and he understands what it means to play hockey here," Buotte added. "He has contributed to building winning, positive culture everywhere he's gone. We are very fortunate to have him."
