Thomas College Upends Mustangs 5-2

Augusta, Me. - The Thomas Terriers used a balanced attack on Saturday evening to upend the visiting Central Maine Mustangs by a final count of 5-2 at the Camden National Bank Ice Vault. After Trevor Roche opened the scoring 12:57 into the first, Matthew Deveaux would tie the game just 2:01 later. Alex Berard would nudge the hosts in front before Carl Bear would equalize on a 2-on-2 to level the score at two a piece.

 The Terriers would then explode, scoring three goals in a 6 minute span to push their lead to 5-2 heading into the third period, a score which would stand as the final result. Anthony Tilelli stopped 30 shots in defeat while Thomas goaltender Thomas Green stopped 30 of 32. The teams next meet on Wednesday, January 23rd when the teams play again at the Ice Vault.
