The Central Maine Community College (6-4) faced the University of Maine Machias in men's soccer on Sunday in Auburn. The Mustangs were able to hold off the Clippers for 23 minutes but Tyler Troup found the back of the goal for Machias after receiving a pass from Franck Zeba. The 26th minute saw Machias score again this time it was Juan Sorales with a superb individual effort. The Mustangs put up a fight for the first 30 minutes of the second half and Josh Brien and Owen Miller played very well defensively. At 31:37 Machias's Christian Olmedo scored and at 36:22 Troup scored his second of the day. The Clippers went on to add two more goals ending the game ahead 6-0. Sam Hobson had 18 saves in goal for Central Maine and Luis Herrera had 3 saves for Machias.
