UMP Cleans up CM

Farmington, ME - The CMCC Men's Soccer team started their season Friday with a friendly tilt against University of Maine Farmington. It was Adan Abo who nicely placed a bouncing ball behind Farmington goalkeeper Ronie Morales with just seven minutes remaining in the first half. The second half was all Beaver. Ryan Fairbanks scored first just two minutes in to the second half. Jordan Luks scored just two minutes later after receiving a nice through ball from Darine Gnidehoue. Yusuf Yama sealed the game when he stole the ball out of the back and scored in a great individual effort.

Dustin Sullivan was busy in goal for the Mustangs and was credited with thirteen saves, although it could have been more.

Of particular note, Darine Gnidehoue who previously played and graduated from CMCC had transferred his credits in and is now playing for Farmington.
