Farmington, ME - The Mustangs got their first taste of college soccer Tuesday afternoon as they traveled to University of Maine Farmington to face the Beavers. Farmington senior Austin Dooley settled a free kick that was put into the box from Ibrahim Achekh to open the scoring at the twenty-first minute. In the closing minutes of the first half it was Fiston Mubalama who evened the game when he took the ball around a defender and shot the ball past the UMF keeper. The game was really intense in the second half and it was Farmington's Ethan Cooper who put the Beavers ahead 2-1 with just seven minutes remaining in the match.
