Rutland, VT - The game began when the Saints started out in attack mode, pushing the ball to the mustang's end of the field, but the stiff line of the Mustang defense held them back until 31:19 when CSJ's Dominick Simpson scored on an assist from Alex Andrade.

The Mustangs pressed the ball deep into CSJ's defense where a direct kick was awarded to the Mustangs. From just outside the penalty area, CM's Brandon Morissette hooked the ball in for the Mustangs first goal 39:32 tying up the game at 1-1.

The Saints kick off was to Sergio Lopes, who then turned and crossed the ball to Dominick Simpson who placed one in the net just 21 seconds later at 39:52. Mustangs went in at half time down 2-1.

The second half opened with the Mustangs kick off and immediate pressure on the Saints' defense, but they were unable to convert on several opportunities. At 69:31 the Saints' Keven Andrade scored on a penalty kick bringing the score to 3-1. Then at 80:39 St. Josephs Royvelt Baessa scored from an assist by Sergio Lopes to bring the score to 4-1.

The Mustangs showed grit, and pressured the Saints defense for more goal front opportunities but the Mustangs were unable to convert. Then a determined, Morissette dribbled the ball through 3 defenders to shoot and score at 89:14.  The final was 4-2.
