Auburn, ME – On a windy Saturday afternoon CM took on University of Maine Presque Isle at home in Auburn.
With the wind at their backs it took the University of Maine Owls 13:50 to get on top. Outside defender and captain Djima Azarak fouled a player in the box and Derek Healy scored a penalty kick. Just four minutes later Cody Blair used the wind to put in a corner kick for UMPI. The Mustangs started to regain their footing but with just 1:19 before halftime Derek Healy scored again bringing the score to 3-0.
For the second half CMCC had the wind at their backs, and while CMCC outshot UMPI they couldn't find the twine. Defensively, Cody Dolloff played extremely well for CMCC. Austin Wing made 7 saves in goal for the Mustangs. While AJ Dollet collected the only shot on goal for the Owls.
