Unity, ME - The second meeting the season between CM and Unity proved as exciting as the first unfortunately this time, with a different victor. Two goals from the Unity Rams proved to be too much for the Mustangs to come back from.
Unity's Will Desmaris scored on a long throw in from Matt Hamilton sixteen minutes into the match. Ten minutes later it was Desmaris providing an assist to Jacob Cyr. Mustang goalkeeper Austin Wing had five saves to his credit when he had to leave the game unexpectedly with a leg strain. Zach Lowe stepped in goal. The score remained 2-0 at halftime.
Mohamed Jibril provided Brandon Morissette with a nice pass and Morissette neatly placed the ball in the side netting to bring CMCC within one goal at 57:52. Unity held off several opportunities to close out the last twenty minutes. Lowe tallied eight saves for the Mustangs while Unity's Derrick Bates had ten saves.
