2024-25: As a sophomore, one of two team captains... Named a USCAA 2nd-Team All-American, selected to the USCAA All-Tournament Team, and named YSCC All-Conference... Played in 18 games, starting all of them, for CMCC while scoring two goals and adding one assist... Part of a defensive back line that kept 12 clean sheets over the course of the season... Received a red card vs rival SMCC on September 19th... Scored first collegiate goal during “senior night” game vs UMaine Augusta, an 8-0 win, and added an assist. Scored game-winning goal against #4 Penn State-Leigh Valley at the USCAA DII National Tournament... Guided team to fourth straight YSCC Tournament title and first ever USCAA DII National Championship, not allowing a goal in three matches at the national tournament. Lifted the trophy after a 7-0 win against #2 Central Penn College.
2023-24: As a freshman, team captain. Played in 16 games, helping the Mustangs keep nine clean sheets en route to winning the YSCC Championship with a 4-1 victory over SMCC and making the USCAA National Tournament.
Prior to CMCC: Part of the U18 Knutsford Academy team that won the North West Colleges Sports League Central Conference in 2022 conceding only eight goals in the process. Won the U18 John Sleight Cheshire Schools County Cup in 2022 as well. Team was runner-up for the John Talley Showcase and Shootout tournament in Memphis, TN... Part of Egerton Football Club, coming through the ranks with their youth teams.
Personal: Parents are Mike and Lorraine Bashford. Has two sisters, Ellie and Courtney.
