Coach Bruce Robertson came to CM after many years coaching in local high schools and in the club ranks.

Robertson, who was hired at CM in December 2017 is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and has coaching experience that goes back to 2004. With multiple years of experience in the SAD 52 middle and high school levels. Before coming in and during his first year at CM Robertson coached his own Club Team, the Diamond Warriors. His team was successful competing in many tournaments throughout New England. Being a club coach has helped Coach Robertson with his recruiting style in bringing in student/athletes to CM.

In 2018-19 seasons Coach Robertson's first 2 seasons he led the Mustangs to the YSCC Playoffs and having 2 YSCC All- Conference Players.

Fall 2019 Coached Robertson recruited a team to be tops in the YSCC. After a strong start in the fall going 8-5. Unfortunately, COVID-19 took away the 2020 Spring Season along with the entire 2020-21 season.

20221-22 once the Mustangs could be back on the field and Coach Robertson did not stop recruiting and put together and coached the Mustangs to 22-12-1 leading them to their first ever USCAA Small College World Series appearance where they were #5 ranked team.

2022-23 season saw the Mustangs look to improve on the previous season. With a first ever trip to Myrtle Beach and a record of 23-9 and return to the USCAA Small College World Series for the second consecutive year this time where they were #3 ranked team.

2023-24 Enters Coach Robertson’s 6th season where he looks to continue to grow and improve the program and hopes to lead the Mustangs for a third straight year to the Small College World Series.

Since Robertson coming to CM the Mustangs have had 2 YSCC All Conference Players, a USCAA Honorable Mention All- American, 2nd Team All-American and a 1st Team All-American and multiple All Academic All-Americans.
