Just nine hours after getting back from their road trip to Worcester, MA the Lady Mustangs boarded the bus again, this time to Lyndonville, VT to take on Lyndon State College (NCAA DIII) in an exhibition game.
Plagued by early foul trouble, CM had to go their bench earlier and deeper than normal, and the young Mustangs responded. Jasmine Ramos and Shaila Cole sparked the Mustangs defensively, playing huge minutes off the bench.
Gabby Foy got things going with three first half 3's to finish with 16 points. Ramos netted 10 off the bench, and starters, Susie French and Laura Soohey finished with 17 & 15 points respectively. Abriana Diana scored 9 points off the bench, and Hannah Champagne played relentless defense in her first career start.
The Lady Mustangs shot 48.5% from the floor and hit eight 3's (47.1%). CM is back in action tomorrow when they host CCRI in a huge non-conference matchup.
