The floodgates opened from the 3-point line, and the Lady Mustangs scorched past Navy Prep in an 89-72 win. The Mustangs shot a brilliant 17-36 (47.2%) from the 3-point line, which included five 3's from Gabby Foy and Samantha Bruce a piece, three 3's from Lexi Larson (Milo, ME), and two 3's from Susie French. Shaila Cole and Jasmine Ramos also connected from downtown.
Bruce finished with a team high 23 points with French following with 19 points to go along with her 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Foy finished with 15 points. Navy Prep had 3 players score in double figures, led by Taylor Dunham with a game-high 27 points.
With the win, CM improves to their record to 4-1 overall. The Lady Mustangs will be back in action Tuesday evening when they travel to Waterville to take on Thomas College.
