The first USCAA Division II Coaches Poll was release this afternoon, and both the men's and women's basketball teams debut each as the #1 team in the country!
The Lady Mustangs are currently 13-1 overall and 9-0 in the YSCC. CM edged out Albany College of Pharmacy, the defending USCAA DII National Champions, by a single vote. The Lady Mustangs are averaging 82.7 points, 23.4 steals, and 23.4 assists per game - all tops in the USCAA.
Men's basketball sits at 14-0 overall and 9-0 in the conference. The Mustangs beat out Penn State Beaver by 8 votes. CM is averaging 96.2 points, 29.1 assists, and 22.4 steals per game, which all rank #1 in the USCAA.
