In their first game on the second semester, the Lady Mustangs shook off some early rust and routed the Fighting Saints of the College of St. Joseph's. Early on, Gabby Foy (Wilton, ME) conndcted on three 3's to spark the Lady Mustang offense.
One of CM's goals for the game was to hold Yankee Conference leading scorer, Chontayvia Kennedy (23.5 ppg) to less than 15 points, and they did that, limiting Kennedy to a season-low 5 points on 2-12 shooting.
Susie French (Greenland, NH) was one steal away for another triple-double, finishing with 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 steals. Foy finished the game with 18 points and 6 steals.
Anastasia Rodriguez led the Fighting Saints with a team-high 12 points.
Overall, nine different Mustangs found the scoring column. CM is back in action tomorrow afternoon (2:00pm) when they host nationally ranked NJCAA DII powerhouse Dean College.
