Depth & balance lead Lady Mustangs past EMCC

All 12 Lady Mustangs who suited up for the game not only found the scoring column, but played double digit minutes as well.  Overall depth and scoring balance proved to be too much for the EMCC Golden Eagles, as CM raced to an 86-51 victory in the final game of the first semester.

Leading the way for the Lady Mustangs was Laura Soohey (Bremen, ME) who scored 11 points and pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds to go along with 4 blocks and 4 steals.  Freshmen, Kat Styles (Franklin, NH) and Malia Hamel (Edmonton, AB), also poured in 11 points each, with Hamel connecting from downtown three times.

Gabby Foy (Wilton, ME) and Lexi Larson (Milo, ME) each dished out 6 assists.

The Lady Mustangs distributed 28 assists and forced 28 turnovers.  With the win, CM improves to 9-3 overall and 7-0 in the Yankee Conference.  After a few weeks off, they will be back in action on January 18th and 19th when they travel to Vermont to take on VTC and St. Joe's.
