Auburn, ME - The Lady Mustangs continue their success recruiting in New Hampshire, this time landing Abby Tilton, a do-it-all guard from Dover High School.  Tilton, a NHIAA All-State selection for the Green Wave as a junior, is lightening quick and a defensive stalwart, with the ability to pressure ball handlers at multiple positions.

In addition to her defensive prowess, Tilton has the ability to score in multiple ways, all while setting her teammates up to be successful.

According to Head Women's Basketball Coach, Andrew Morong, "Abby is a tremendous basketball player with a great understanding for the game.  She is a perfect fit for our system here at CM.  It's time to take the reins off and watch her go, as she was made to play in an up-tempo system.  She has a knack for causing chaos defensively; her quickness, length, and ability to anticipate is exactly what we are looking for.  Abby should make an immediate impact for us, on both side of the ball, right out of the gate.  I think she flew under the radar, and getting a player of Abby's caliber is a great step forward for our program."

Abby Tilton, on why she chose CM, "I like the size of the school and the fact that it's far enough away from home, but not too far.  I love the style of basketball played here at CM, I really think it plays to my strengths.  I am excited about the challenge ahead, everyone at the next level was the best, or one of the best, players on their high school team so the competition, even in practices, is going to be a lot higher."

She continued, "I feel as though I can bring a lot to the team next year.  My defensive intensity and ability to distribute the basketball should serve me well.  At the end of the day, I am coming here to win a championship, and I will do whatever I can to help us achieve that."
