Augusta, ME - A slow start doomed the Lady Mustangs early on as they fell into a 16-point deficit, before falling to UMaine-Augusta 69-63.  Trailing by 9 at the half, the CM was able to cut the Moose lead to just a single point at the end of the 3rd quarter, and eventually take a 1-point lead for a possession in the forth.

Jenny Schlim (Nottingham, NH) led the Mustangs with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists - all team highs.  Allie Ablondi (Thompson, CT) came off the bench and recorded 11 points.

UMA was led by Jamie Plummer and Darby Toth who scored 22 and 16 points respectively.

With the loss the CM falls to 5-3 on the year and 1-1 in the Yankee Conference.  The Lady Mustangs are back in action Friday when they travel to NCAA DII St. Anselm's College for an exhibition game.
