Holyoke, MA – Playing without 2 starters on the road is never an easy task, and you could tell as the Lady Mustangs got off to a sluggish start.  Even though CM jumped out to a 23-6 1st quarter lead, the execution and intensity was lacking.  The ladies picked up both of the execution and the intensity in the 2nd half, to run away with a 67-32 victory over Holyoke CC.

Freshman, Seve Deery-Deraps (Rangeley, ME) finished with a game-high 18 points, and almost finished with her first career double-double, tallying 9 rebounds.  Macy Welch (North Anson, ME) completed a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, while shooting 6-7 from the floor.  Nicole Hamblin (Fayette, ME) again flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 8 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists, and 7 steals.

Megan Crosby (Wales, ME) scored her first collegiate points, finishing 9 points and 9 rebounds, and Mikayla Yanez (Lisbon, ME) played tremendous defense off the bench, recording 2 offensive fouls.

With the win the Lady Mustangs improve their record to 13-7 overall, and head back home to take on Great Bay CC in a Saturday matinee.
