Auburn, ME - Brooke Reynolds (Poland, ME) and Jenny Schlim (Nottingham, NH) were named to the Yankee Small College Conference All-Conference Teams. Reynolds, was named to the 1st team, while Schlim was named in the 2nd team.
Schlim, who battled injuries all year, averaged 10.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in just 19.3 minutes per game. She has also taken a school-record 16 offensive fouls this year. In the YSCC, she ranked 6th in FG%, 7th in assists per game, 1st in Assists to turnover ratio, and 7th in blocks per game. In the USCAA, Schlim was #1 in assist to turnover ratio, 18th in FG%.
| Reynolds is averaging 14 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.9 steals per game while shooting 59% from the floor. She is the engine that makes us go and has helped lead us to a 21-1 record to this point. In the YSCC, she is 4th in points per game, 8th in rebounds per game, 1st in steals, 1st in FG%, and 7th in FT%. In the USCAA she is 1st in FG% and 1st in steals per game. Reynolds has done this while only playing 21.8 minutes per game. In the short list of players who average more points per game than her, only 1 plays an equal amount of minutes, with the #1 person playing 12 more minutes per game. Twice named the YSCC Player of the Week while also being USCAA National Player of the Week once. |
